Born and raised in the south of Sweden, I came to Barcelona eleven years ago. I lived in Barcelona city for eight years, before finally settling down in my current location Sitges – which is a very charming seaside town about 40 km south of Barcelona which I absolutely adore.
I hold a diploma in wedding planning, and prior to that I worked as a project coordinator for 8 years as at various DMC’s (Destination Management Companies) in Barcelona. During this time I gained experience within planning, organization and coordination of group travels and events, organizing both big and small events. I also have experience as a team leader in a completely different industry, but from which I also gained a lot of useful experiences.
I decided to become a wedding planner back in 2017 after I organized my own wedding on a beach in Costa Brava. It was such a fun experience and it was very similar to my daily work as a project coordinator – but even more fun! There is something so satisfying and rewarding about finishing a well executed project. The excitement when it all starts to come together motivates me and keeps me going. I just love organizing! And the best thing is that I can use my knowledge and creativity to create something beautiful and unforgettable that you will cherish.
Other things about me:
On my days off I mostly spend time with my husband and our two children who are 5 and 1 years old. However, our biggest baby is our 8 year old french bulldog Eira.
I love to get inspired by interior design, architecture, movies, fashion, or by beautiful surroundings. I also like trying out new restaurants, date nights, chocolate & Netflix, my sewing machine & DIY projects.
It doesn’t happen very often, but if I’m homesick I just take a trip down to my local Ikea store and order their meatballs menu, and I call my mum, that usually helps.
There are not many things that I miss about Sweden (a part from my family, obviously!), but if I had to say something it would be to be able to drink the tap water, Swedish Christmas food and Swedish milk chocolate.
Now that you know me a bit better, I would really love to get to know you too, and what plans you have for your wedding. You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or fill out the contact form here.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
